1. Product Warranty

Bounten water softeners come with a standard warranty covering manufacturing defects:

• Zoftnor Max: 2 Years
• Turbidity Filter: 1 Year

The expected lifespan of the Zoftnor Max unit is 15 to 20 years, while the turbidity filter media lifespan is 5 yrs and it may vary depending on water quality and usage. This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, external factors such as fire, water leakage, etc.

2. Product Warranty

Installation is a simple plug-and-play process. Anyone with basic plumbing knowledge can install the unit.Technician support is available via phone, and demo videos are accessible on the company website (www.bounten.me). All plumbing or civil work required at the site is the customer’s responsibility. Necessary fittings must be arranged by the customer. Max Product can install in between bore motor and tank or at the tank outlet and Turbfree filter should install before tank.

3. Product Usage

Since PPM (Parts Per Million) remains unchanged, Itwill protect plumbing, and household appliances. It enhanced taste, performance, and lifespan of an RO system.

4. Maintenance

Bounten systems are designed to be salt-free and maintenance-free under normal usage conditions. However, to ensure optimal performance:

• Gently clean the scaling accumulated on the Zoftnor Max body, before or at every 150 hours of usage.
• Clean the max body andtitanium-coated rod using plain water under a tap and by hand only. Avoid using harsh tools or abrasive cleaners/chemicals for better performance and durability.
• Periodic cleaning or replacement of filters (e.g., disc or bag filters) may be required.
• For systems with Turbfree filters, perform rinse-wash or backwash as per below instructions.

1. Backwashing Process (Weekly or As Needed)
2. Shut off feed water supply.
3. Turn the valve to “Backwash” mode.
4. Allow dirty water to flush out (typically 10–15 minutes or until clear water flows).
5. Switch to “Rinse” mode – For 5–10 minutes to settle the media.
6. Return to “Service” mode – Resume normal operation.

NOTE: An automatic valve option is available for added convenience.

5. Returns & Refunds

Products once installed are non-returnable, except in cases of manufacturing defects on delivery. Transit damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to be eligible for claims. Replacements will be processed only after inspection by our technical team or authorized dealer. A no-refund policy applies once the product is ordered or installed.

6. Lead Time & Delivery

Standard delivery time is 3 to 7 working days, depending upon the location. Delays due to natural calamities, transport strikes, or government restrictions are beyond our control.

7. Legal Jurisdiction

All disputes, if any, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Hyderabad, Telangana courts only.

Customer Commitments & Guarantees

• We assure that scaling will bevisible in the main body of thezoftnor max unit within 150 hours of usage. Our systems are specifically designed to effectively reduce and prevent scale buildup over time.
• A voltmeter is included in the kit to allow customers to independently check power supply status:

o If the reading is between 8 to 12 volts, the device is working properly.

o If the reading is outside this range or no reading is shown, please contact the respective professional sales agent.

Important Clarification on PPM and Bounten’s Functionality

At Bounten, we believe in transparency. Our system does not reduce PPM (Parts Per Million) levels, as PPM includes all types of dissolved minerals and salts, not just the hardness-causing ones. Therefore, PPM levels will remain unchanged after installation.

Note: Bounten Zoftnor Max is not designed to make water completely smooth or silky, but it is specifically engineered to reduce scaling. With regular use, stains and scale buildup are significantly minimized. Any remaining scale will be softer and easier to clean with a gentle wash.
